Courses listed as additional courses are not mandatory to earn a degree. Grades from these courses are factored into the student’s final GPA. Students may choose to take up to two additional courses in their final year.
Students interested in signing up for additional courses must do so through Web Self Service July 20-25, 2017.
Course syllabi and timetables are available online during the selection period. Additional courses must be different than those listed as characterizing courses for their majors and the electives chosen in June.
Before selecting additional courses, it is important to consider:
- the syllabus
- possible prerequisites
- timetable (course times are listed by instructors name)
After the selection period closes on July 25, it is no longer possible to modify choices, with the exception of removing a course from the study plan. Removal must be performed before the exam.
