Eugenia Brandimarte, LUISS' Economics&Finance graduate, won the Antitrust 2017 award thanks to a Managerial Economics master thesis.
This award is established by the "Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato" in order to promote the devolpment of competition culture and customers' rights and it is addressed to 5 different categories: 1) high school students; 2) college students; 3) journalists; 4) customers' associations; 5) companies' associations. The Antitrust authority has rewarded the best master thesis (among those presented during the on-going academic year or right before the announcement of selection) discussing themes linked to the Antitrust authority's activities.
Eugenia Brandimarte, first place in the second category, will receive an official recognition from the Authority, in addition to the possibility to carry out an internship at the Antitrust authority and attend Trento Summer School on Advanced EU Competition Law and Economics.
The awards ceremony will take place on May 30th, 2018 at 4:30 PM, at the Antitrust authority offices, in Piazza Giuseppe Verdi 6/a, Roma.
