Economics and Business

Il Corso di Laurea Triennale in Economics and Business ha lo scopo di formare studenti dotati di larghe vedute e di una forte vocazione internazionale. Il corso fornisce una solida preparazione di base a carattere generale nelle fondamentali discipline economiche ed una robusta introduzione alle discipline aziendali e finanziarie. Il corso prevede inoltre un’introduzione al funzionamento e alle politiche delle principali istituzioni europee e alle esigenze di regolamentazione dei diversi mercati, con particolare attenzione a tematiche come la concorrenza e il diritto antitrust. In più, gli studenti riceveranno gli strumenti metodologici necessari per comprendere ed analizzare i fenomeni economici e finanziari, compresa l’acquisizione dei concetti giuridici di base. L’obiettivo principale è di contribuire alla creazione di una classe dirigente europea con una solida cultura economica ed una sincera vocazione per il management e l’imprenditorialità. L’inglese come lingua esclusiva di insegnamento e la possibilità di frequentare due interi semestri di studio in Olanda contribuiranno alla formazione di laureati europei con forte apertura e vocazione internazionale. Nonostante l’orientamento economico di questo corso, un’importanza rilevante sarà attribuita anche all’insegnamento di materie giuridiche, ma sempre entro una cornice economica e coerentemente con la finalità, a livello internazionale, di mantenere una certa prevalenza di contenuti “domestici” nei principali insegnamenti giuridici riguardo ai tradizionali corsi di economia (diritto pubblico, diritto privato, diritto commerciale).

Il Corso di Laurea prevede la possibilità per gli studenti di frequentare un intero anno in Olanda, presso la prestigiosa Università di Utrecht, considerata il migliore ateneo in Olanda e XII in Europa dallo Shanghai Ranking of World Universities. Seguendo un percorso di studi strutturato, attraverso un’offerta formativa che sintetizza il meglio dei programmi accademici delle due Università, i partecipanti potranno acquisire elementi propri della cultura e delle tradizioni dell’Europa continentale. Gli studenti interessati a questa opportunità potranno presentare la propria candidatura durante il loro primo anno di corso: l’ammissione al programma sarà stabilita attraverso un processo di selezione basato sulla valutazione dei risultati accademici e di un colloquio motivazionale. Inoltre, gli studenti iscritti al terzo anno di corso possono candidarsi per l’ammissione ad uno dei programmi di Doppio Titolo a livello magistrale che la LUISS Guido Carli organizza.

Le tre aree di specializzazione previste al terzo anno ManagementEconomicsFinance (interamente in lingua inglese) danno la possibilità agli studenti di mettere a fuoco i possibili percorsi magistrali.

Employment and professional opportunities for graduates

I laureati potranno svolgere attività lavorativa in istituzioni economico-finanziarie, imprese ed amministrazioni pubbliche con qualifiche corrispondenti alla preparazione triennale ottenuta.
