Guide to the compilation of study plans

General rules

The academic program for the bachelor’s degree and master’s degree programs consists of mandatory core classes, elective classes and other activities which are also required in order to fill the total number of credits for the final degree. Students are asked to make choices regarding these courses

Elective courses

At Bachelor level at the end of their second year
students must chose – through the web self-service – one of the majors (Economics, Finance, Management) and  the elective courses from among the list of courses published in the
“Electives” section in order to earn the credits allocated to electives.

At Master level at the end of their first year students must chose – through the web self-service – the elective courses from among the list of courses published in the “Electives” section in order to earn the credits allocated to electives.

Students must fill out the study plan online according to the procedures and deadlines set out every year.

Other activities

At Bachelor level the program rules also
allocate 6 credits to computer skills and 4 credits to “other activities”.

During their second or their third year
students must attend the Information Systems course (mandatory) in order to earn the 6
credits allocated to computer skills. The course timetable is published at the
same time as that for all other courses.

During the three years
students must undertake activities in order to earn the 4 credits allocated to
“other activities”.

At Master level the  program rules also allocate 8 credits to “other activities”.

CALENDAR

In November

Students enrolled in the first year of a master’s degree program have to choose how to earn the 8 credits for other activities.

Specifically, students must choose among:

  • languages
  • seminars
  • internship
  • soft skils
  • other activities 

In June

Students enrolled in the first year of a Bachelor’s degree program have to choose:

  • Mandatory language

and

  • Other activities (language, seminars, internships, etc.)

Students enrolled in the second year of a Bachelor’s degree program have to choose:

  • 2 elective courses

and

  • Major 

Students enrolled in the first year of a Master’s degree program  have to choose:

  •  2 or 1 (depending on the major and the program) elective courses

November 22-29, 2017

First year students in Economy and Finance master's degree (enrolled a.y. 2017-2018) must choose the activity to earn the 8 credits for other activities (language/internship/seminars, etc.) through the Web Self Service.

  • Students enrolled at the 2nd year 2015-2016 of the Bachelor Degree and students enrolled at the 1st  year 2015/2016 of the Master’s Degree can choose the additional courses (through web self service)

November 9-16, 2015

Students enrolled in the first year of the master’s program in Economics and Finance have to choose 4 credits activities.

In particular they have to choose between:

  • languages
  • other activities

The choice has to be made through Web Self Service, November 9-16, 2015

  • Students enrolled in the second year of the bachelor's program and students enrolled in the first year of the master's program in 2014-2015 can choose additional courses through Web Self Service
